The Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University are pleased to be hosting the ‘Homes for the future’ Forum to showcase examples where ‘innovation’ has been used in the housing sector to provide better homes.
Rather than focusing on theory, the Forum will showcase real projects, measurable outcomes and practical lessons that can inform future housing developments, retrofit programmes and housing policies, unlocking opportunities now.
The Forum will provide an opportunity to share experiences from projects that have stimulated positive change with one or more of the following outcomes having been achieved:
- Lower carbon and net-zero housing;
- Improved resident health, wellbeing and comfort;
- Building performance and post-occupancy evaluation;
- Housing retrofit and energy efficiency;
- Resident engagement and co-design;
- Innovation in housing delivery and management.
