Webinar Series 2025: Design Research Approaches for Transforming Homes for Future Generations
1.4 million homes were built by councils in the UK between 1920-1940. The way we use our homes and neighbourhoods is very different to 100 years ago. There is a need to maintain and adapt our homes to provide comfortable and useable homes that suit our current and future way of living. This webinar presents the role of Design Research in generating transformative solutions for homes built by Councils between 1920 and 1940, with processes developed being transferable to homes of other age groups.
